  • Pursues nonviolent means of addressing injustices of occupation and conflict, and refrains from rhetoric that vilifies one side without turning away from inequality
  • Shows willingness to understand the power imbalances between participants and address them in part through non-exclusionary language (Arabic and Hebrew translations or neutral language), and equitable leadership among Israelis and Palestinians
  • Has a public media presence in print or web, so does not “out” individuals or groups
  • Is an ally: a Palestinian or Israeli whose work supports a shared future
